Free Pattern: The Move On Up Wrap

The Move on up wrap is based on the Apache Tears pattern by Sarah London. This technic uses stitches in the back loop only and front loop only to create a pattern. If you are not familiar with this stitch I would recommend to practise a little before you are starting the wrap.

For my wrap i used the whole colour range of 50gram Scheepjes Cahlista which is 99 colours. There is also a Cahlista Colour Pack of 15 gram balls available. You will get 109 colours with this pack. As approximately 12 grams of every colour (except the basic colour white) are used in this pattern, the colour pack is highly recommended. You can use the ten extra colours and make the wrap a little longer or you just save the colours for another project.

The Wrap is worked on right side only which means that you do not turn your work. You join and fasten off in every row. But that doesn´t mean that the backside isn´t beatiful. The right side pattern makes the backside slightly wavy which looks gorgeous in my humble opinion. Especially if you did not expect such a fantastic backside.

I did not add a border to the wrap as I think the loose ends really look nice.
